The Longest Highway in California can also be the Most Dangerous

Posted by Robert Walch | 3 February 2021 | 0 Comments

The US 101 is one of the most traveled on roads in all of California. It stretches from Los Angeles, to the top of the California coast running into Oregon and ending in Tumwater, Washington. Established in 1926, it is still the longest highway in California. Although many new highways have been built, it continues to be one of the major coastal routes that links big cities in California like Los Angeles and San Francisco together. This highway is part of the National Highway System (NHS) and is essential to the country’s economy.

Due to the frequent volume of users, car accidents on the 101 happen multiple times a day. If you or someone you love were involved in an accident on the 101, call Walch Law. We have experienced car accident attorneys all over California and know how to help get you the compensation you deserve.

Being in a car accident is frightening. We can be worried about our life and the lives of others. This moment is not a moment to assume blame or blame someone else. It is important for the well-being of everyone involved in the accident to seek help, ensure safety, and limit liability. If you are in a car accident on the 101, here are some things to do immediately:

  • Stay Calm– Asses your situation and take some deep breaths. If your car is still running, turn it off, if you are able.
